Recently, the results of the 17th “Challenge Cup” of Fujian Province College Students’ Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition, jointly organized by the Communist Youth League Committee of Fujian Province, the Department of Education of Fujian Province, the Fujian Association for Science and Technology, the Fujian Academy of Social Sciences, and the Fujian Student Federation, and together with Fuzhou University and the Communist Youth League Committee of Fuzhou City, were announced. The works “Research Report on the Export of Agricultural Products from the Perspective of Cross-border E-commerce -- Taking Fujian Province as an Example” by Guo Xinxin, Peng Yanxin, Shi Danni, Luo Yuxuan and Zheng Chengyue, and “Digitalization of Greenhouse Sheds--Empowering Jintao’s Path to Rural Revitalization” by Zhang Huina, Lyu Lixin, Hu Jiemin, Lin Zhiyuan, Huang Wenxi and Xie Ruojing from our school won two third prizes in the main competition.
The work “Research Report on the Export of Agricultural Products from the Perspective of Cross-border E-commerce--Taking Fujian Province as an Example” focuses on the pain points of cross-border export of agricultural products in Fujian. Through on-site research and data analysis, it proposes an e-commerce empowerment path that suits local characteristics. The work “Digitalization of Greenhouse Sheds-- Empowering Jintao’s Path to Rural Revitalization” combines digital technology with the actual situation of rural areas to explore feasible solutions for the intelligent transformation of greenhouse sheds to facilitate the upgrading of rural industries.
As a landmark event in the academic and technological field for college students in Fujian Province, this year’s “Challenge Cup” competition attracted 1,850 entries from 72 universities across the province. After the provincial preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final review, 30 works were awarded the special prize, 60 works were awarded the first prize, 140 works were awarded the second prize and 330 works were awarded the third prize.
In recent years, the Youth League Committee of the school has actively carried out school-level competitions such as the “Challenge Cup” for science and technology innovation, strengthened the cultivation of students’ innovative spirit and practical ability, and encouraged students of Yangen to widely participate in academic and technological activities, making unremitting efforts to cultivate more high-quality innovative talents.(Luo Shuqi/Text, School Youth League Committee/Photos)
