Yang-en University Held the First Teaching Quality Supervision Meeting for the Second Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year

To further strengthen the monitoring of teaching quality and enhance the effectiveness of teaching quality supervision, on the afternoon of March 4th, our university held the first teaching quality supervision meeting for the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year in the large conference room on the second floor of the Administrative Building on the First Teaching Campus. Attendees included President Wang Weiyue, all members of the university and college-level teaching quality supervision groups, leaders in charge of supervision work from various colleges (departments, faculties), the head of the Academic Affairs Department, and all members of the Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Office. The meeting was chaired by Vice President An Zenglong, also the head of the University Teaching Quality Supervision Group.



At the meeting, the deputy head of the university teaching quality supervision group, along with representatives and responsible leaders from the teaching quality supervision groups of 12 colleges (departments, faculties) such as the School of Economics and the School of Management, delivered speeches in sequence. They exchanged views on the distinctive practices, existing problems, and future work plans of their respective supervision work.


Zhao Fangfang, Deputy Director of the Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Office, introduced the background and functional positioning of the department and put forward specific requirements for this semester's teaching supervision work. She emphasized focusing on raising standards, strengthening precision, emphasizing closed loops, and optimizing empowerment to grasp and refine teaching quality supervision work with stricter standards and a more pragmatic style.


An Zenglong summarized the university's teaching quality supervision work. He stressed that teaching quality monitoring and guidance are key links in ensuring the high-quality development of the university's teaching work. He hoped that the university and college-level teaching quality supervision groups would continue to play their roles in providing professional guidance and supervision in supervising teaching, supervising learning, and supervising management to ensure the smooth progress of the university's education and teaching work.


President Wang Weiyue fully affirmed the achievements made in teaching quality supervision work over the past year in his concluding speech. He pointed out that teaching quality is the lifeline of the university's development. All supervisors should further enhance their ideological understanding, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and continuously improve the professionalism and precision of supervision work. All colleges (departments, faculties) should actively cooperate with the supervision work, promote improvement through supervision, and enhance quality through improvement, jointly driving the university's teaching work to a new level.


This meeting aimed to clarify the key tasks for this semester's teaching quality supervision work, promote experience exchange among various units, and lay a solid foundation for constructing a more scientific and efficient teaching quality monitoring system for our university.
